My tractor shoots white smoke when I start I can do?
I changed the head gasket, I rebuilt the carburetor, I checked the vent. I have not checked the compression, but I guess that's next. Other ideas?
Hello. This is normal with all the tractors, it should not be alarmed. Some do and some do not, simple as that. What is it ... by location where you live, the moisture in the air can have a major effect on the combustion process. Often, the tractor is cold and condensation accumulates in the air intake. When the tractor is started, this moisture is introduced into the cylinder and the exhaust smoke white (Steam at high pressure). You know, if the head gasket had gone to heaven, that water would be in the oil and vice versa. Hopefully alleviate and some of their concerns. XX
