What type of rear wheel passed me a mountain track trek 820?

My rear wheel was simply stolen. Sucks. Before the half damn thing across the city (no car) to the bike shop, I need to know what type of rear wheel I need. Maybe you can even buy online. I can not find any information about it online. Anyone know?

It would be a standard 26 "wheel Bike Mountain Aluminum replacement. You do not mention the age of the bike, but basically you have to know many devices are on the gear lever to the right (should say something and 7.1, etc..) In addition to the wheel, you also need a tire, tube, fuse, and tape. Your local bike shop should certainly be able to do without all of the bike at the bottom, however, the gears and brakes need adjustment after putting the new wheel.
