My Camelbak water bottle started to shape ...?
Within the bite valve and straw slightly. Any ideas on how best to clean this? Not a camelpac, just a regular water bottle with a bite valve.
I agree with Johnny, but I use it probably less than one tablespoon of chlorine depending on the size of the water bottle. If only one liter or less, a teaspoon should do. Keep bleach and water solution held at least 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly after at least thrice. Dip tube and bite valve in a solution of bleach and water, about 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water leave at least 30 minutes. and again rinse well. You must ensure that all air bubbles from the pipe to stay submerged. If you have a bag of Platypus, you can actually put in boiling water, which for me is preferable to the use of chlorine. But if it's strictly a bag probably Camelback need to use bleach. Good luck!
