How do I save a JPEG file in Photoshop with the guidelines laid down? (Blue-green lines of rule?)?
I made a grid guides using photoshop and wondered how I could show this to others without using the print screen and stuff, because it very pixelated. and hopefully not as a PSD as not everyone has a copy.
What you have to do is make the grid lines in their own Photoshop file. As you know, the gridlines will not print and is not saved in the archive. Jpg. So you must create a new layer on top of the image, and then trace the lines of the grid. You can use the pen tool (make sure to select paths which is the icon of the average three small icons in the options bar near the left corner when the Pen tool is active.) Then you can cherish every road in the color you want. A alternative is to use a stiff brush in fine color you want, and trace the lines of division in this way. If you hold down the Shift key to limit the brush lines 90 degrees and 45 degrees, so you should be able to do horizontal and vertical straight lines as needed. Once you've drawn the lines of division, can flatten and save as a. jpg that you can give to people as needed. If there is another way to preserve the grid lines do not know!
