Road Cassette
Can I change the cassette on my road bike?

I have a Scott Speedster, but the sizes of cassette (SRAM PG-950 12-26 T) are too large for use in the hills, so I want to buy a new tape? I'd like to get a SRAM Power Glide II 9-Speed Cassette, 11-34. It's that small? Can I fit the bike? I drive a small gear in Mountains and use big gears on the flats so I need a computer that I can come up with. I hope that helps.

sure it will or should fit fine, but 11-34 is not less, will slow and perform better in mountains, but it has now is made for speed, what you really do? lower in the lowest speed (faster) and highest in top gear (climbing) so how will free? You are directed by a 9-speed cassette and both will work fine.
