1998 Ford Tarus doesent solve heating problem even after replacing the thermostat and collentreservoir?
This is a continuation of my previous question about my Ford Tarus 1998. Pepboys They charged me $ 40 for diagnosing heating system checkup. After the diagnosis I was asked to obtain a replacement reservoir and thermostat collent I did the next day (paid $ 390). This didn'solve the heat problem. I just got the cold air. I'm so tasty mouth after spending $ 430 and the problem persists please !!!!!!! ATALL Adive what to do Thanks in advance for the answer.
The heater core is prolly stuck. Have you started if charges for a cooling tank. Boring you royally. without Vaseline. Go to another mechanic and see what he says. Also be aware of the fact that when you set the heater to "thaw" that are actually run the air conditioning, which dries the air in your car so that the window does not tarnish. Also, your heater is just a small radiator which engine coolant passes through it. Until the engine warms, it will not be hot.
