Controls Which companies make money?

I absolutley hate XT Trigger Shifters damn I have on my bike, and I am looking a set of controls rotation of high technology that are compatible with Shimano (9spd). SRAM is the only company that controls the rotation lasts longer or is less known companies making them? Or someone knows - if they do something which at x0 changes twsit legenthen Controls, so that can be compatible with Shimano?

As Shifters Sram go touch seems to have cornered this market. Sram compatible so as to be compatible with Most either Shimano derailleurs and cassettes. I have the X-GEN and Sram X9 derailleurs and run the Catrike Sram Rockets the Rans and Bacchetta with Shimano 105 derailleurs and a great job. The SRAM X.0 twist should be or should be aligned with the X.0 and X9 derailleur to work properly because As 1:1 compatabilty extend its your turn to try, I suggest you go to good bike shop and ask for a good mechanic that even if you can.
