Does anybody know a quick way to set a higher bar of wood with a wrong place?

I just received my latest DOH! experience. I left a Scented Oil plug on the wooden bar top of my brother and eating spot. Is there a simple way to fix this for me not to kill? Or do I take credit card and pay a professional?

The oil had infiltrated the stain. The only solution is to sand back to the and re-stain it. You may also need some kind of solvent to remove oil from the wood before the stain.
